About

A place for the source your agents work on

An agent that edits files needs a home for them: somewhere the files survive the agent, the laptop and the mistake. Fughetta is that home, reached over MCP.

What it is

Fughetta is an MCP server for coding agents. It hosts your project's source and gives an agent file tools, isolated edit histories and durable receipts, with the same deterministic program code every time.

Three pieces do the work: the gateway is the public entry point and the MCP endpoint, the source owns the files and every revision, and a worker runs the language services a project asks for.

What it does not do

Fughetta makes no model calls. It does not build, test or run your code. It is not a Git host and it does not replace one: it is the source an agent edits, with a history that can be undone one operation at a time.

How it is built

The same input gives the same output. Nothing is inferred, nothing is guessed: a change either applies to the revision it named or it is refused, and a change sent with an operation ID can be read back after a lost reply.
