Any client that speaks MCP
Fughetta is one Streamable HTTP endpoint and a bearer token. If your software can talk to a remote MCP server, it can talk to Fughetta: there is no plugin to install and nothing to run beside the gateway.
| Software | Kind | How |
|---|---|---|
| Claude Code | CLI | Adds the gateway with `claude mcp add`. |
| Claude Desktop | Desktop | Reads a JSON file of servers. |
| Cursor | Editor | Project or user MCP settings. |
| VS Code | Editor | Any MCP extension that speaks Streamable HTTP. |
| Zed | Editor | Context servers in its settings. |
| JetBrains IDEs | Editor | Through the MCP support in the IDE. |
| Cline and Roo Code | Extension | Configured as a remote MCP server. |
| Continue | Extension | Remote MCP with a bearer header. |
| Your own script | HTTP | One POST per tool call, JSON-RPC 2.0. |
The whole configuration
Most clients take a URL and a header. The token is created per installation, scoped to one workspace, and shown once.
